Christmas celebrations can be seen in every city of Pakistan, as Christmas festivities started nationwide by christens on Sunday.
Christmas trees, fairy lights, Christmas snowmen have been seen in different cities today, as Christians are celebrating Christmas with whole freedom in Pakistan. Stalls filled with Santa caps, Santa Stickers and other decoration accessories related to Christmas were set up in Karachi.
Christian groups attended special services at well-decorated churches where prayers were also offered for the better development and prosperity of Pakistan.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and President Mamnoon Hussain also wished Christians on this occasion in Pakistan and all over the world as well. The government of Pakistan is determined to promote mutual harmony and to discourage religious discriminations, they said.
Different areas were decorated with bells, pine cones, candies, twinkling lights and balloons bedecked trees. Decorations were in churches, houses and streets as well.
Before Christmas, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Minister of Railways also inaugurated a special train themed for eve of Christmas which travelled across the country.
