A 19 years old ‘Pratha Wala’ boy named Hanan Khan who makes ‘Parathas’ in a street hotel of Karachi, have been selected by PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) for two T 20 matches against Malaysian cricket team starting from 14th January at Gadhafi Stadium, Lahore.
Hanan who works at a local hotel of Karachi as a ‘Pratha’ maker has been called to represent National Cricket Academy(NCA) XI against the Malaysian team.
When asked about his feelings, “I am very happy to avail this chance” said Hanan.
“At the point when the primary phone call came from Lahore, I was playing a match. Later I called them back and learned about my selection as a batsman,” he said.
Describing his excitement regarding selection, he revealed that he was not sure if the call made to him was genuine. So he called back again to confirm his selection for T20’s.
Hanan Khan has been played for Quetta in the home grade 2 matches, while he was also selected by Quetta Gladiators by talent hunt in Quetta.
“I am truly appreciative to everyone whoever supported me particularly Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) which has had a vital part in promoting the new players emerged from Baluchistan,” he said.
‘Pratha’ seller Hanan Khan Achakzai is an opening batsman who belongs from Chaman actually.
The two Twenty20 matches between PCB XI and Malaysia will be played in Gaddafi Stadium Lahore on 14th and 15th January.
