Chef Toquir Ahmad opened Des Pardes in 2010 in Saidpur, a centuries-old village at the foot of the Margalla Hills just east of Daman-e-Koh. The menu is built around Mughlai and Afghan dishes with rich Pakistani flavours, served with fine-dining polish in a setting that makes the drive up part of the evening.
