The Galyat is a strip of hills between Murree and Abbottabad, dotted with resort towns whose names end in ‘gali’. Nathia Gali, at its centre, is known for its cool weather and hiking trails, and nearby Ayubia National Park protects coniferous and broadleaf forest around Khaira Gali, Changla Gali and Khanspur.
