Chitral

Chitral is a town on the Chitral River in the north of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the capital of Lower Chitral District. It was the seat of the Katur rulers of the princely state of Chitral, its fort was the scene of a month-long siege in 1895, and it lies at about 1,500 metres with a dry climate.
